Open Call for Exhibitions

RISD Color Lab invites undergraduate and graduate students to submit exhibition proposals for the academic year. Both group and solo exhibitions are accepted. Faculty not participating in the Fellowship program may also apply. Proposed exhibits should engage with color as a central theme of study and involvement. Creative interpretations are encouraged, but proposals that only peripherally deal with color should not be submitted. Both group and solo exhibitions will be considered. Proposals are expected to contain all necessary materials for exhibition, including all artworks, a suggested floorplan, and a written exhibition statement.

Submissions will operate indefinitely on a rolling basis. Fleet Library staff will work with you individually to determine an exhibition timeframe. Please note that exhibitions may be scheduled for the following semester or academic year.

Submit your proposal for consideration to the Fleet Library Exhibit Proposal Form.
